Wireless BentoBox for the Bambulab X1C
I was looking for a fairly compact air filter to equip my Bambulab X1C as it currently resides inside an office.
The Bento makes quite a compelling solution. I believe filtering systems should follow the KISS concept and not burden the user in any way when it comes to their maintenance. The less you want to interact with your filters, the less you'll get the chance to swap out the exhausted consumables.
So I set myself up to make one, but the selection for all the components was rather hard since there are so many different versions and remixes, I needed:
Compliant to the original design, as it's great.
Be using 4020 axial fans, as I prefer them over radial for the scope of this project.
Avoid altering the X1C frame in any way or void the warranty.
No wires at sight. Strong OCD vibe here.
Finally, after a bit of research I put together a list of links to follow, I hope I shaved off you a bit of time.
Transmitter 3D model, fully compatible with this 0-8mm 20W wire transmitter.
Super clean receiver 3D model, compatible with this 10W, 9V QI receiver.
2x SUNON MB40202VX-000C-A99 4020 Fans with "A1" connector. They are MagLev and very quiet for the amount of air they move.
1x HW-045 Boost converter to get from the 5-9V of the wireless receiver to the required 20-24V.
This HEPA filter, I've just went with the 10 pieces as it'll need frequent replacing.
Acid-free carbons from the Nevermore filter.
